Larry Irwin founded AMC Safety in 1993. He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy (Corpsman) during the Vietnam Era. Due to his experience, Larry found his passion of helping others in the safety and health field. After founding AMC Safety, he has conducted countless job site surveys and training sessions to make our clients and their jobs much safer. In 2004, Larry was named a member of the Cambridge Who's Who.

Amanda West joined the AMC Safety team in January 2017 and is our Senior Vice President of Operations and Accounting. At her previous employer, she was an assistant manager for over 6 years. She attended Vol State where she earned her degree in business and accounting. Amanda is extremely organized and ensures our clients receive all information in a timely manner. She handles account payable and receivable, scheduling training, drug screens and new hire orientations, job site reporting, month end client reporting as well as many other functions and duties.

Gary Crawford officially joined AMC Safety in May of 2015. Prior to AMC Safety, Gary was owner of Crawford Masonry for 35 years. Gary then joined McIntosh Murphy Masonry as the on-site safety for masonry construction at Vanderbilt University. At this time, Gary teamed up with AMC Safety to provide all safety requirements for this large construction project. As this project concluded, Gary then joined forces with AMC Safety with special emphasis in masonry construction and scaffold erection. He now provides hands on job site inspections and safety training for all AMC Safety clients.

Jatziri joined AMC Safety's team October 2023. After being in the field for a couple of weeks, she is proving that she is a quick learner. Being bilingual, Jatziri is able to help eliminate the language barrier in the field, help translate documents and ensure everyone is working safely on the job. She is on her journey to be a great asset to our team! Jatziri will be attending safety courses in the near future and will continue to grow her safety knowledge.

Angel joined AMC Safety's team October 2024. Angel was introduced to the construction field at a young age and continued to pursue construction jobs throughout his adolescent life. This is beneficial as he has been able to utilize those tools to bring respect and knowledge to the safety side when assisting in the field. Being bilingual, Angel is able to help eliminate the language barrier in the field, help translate documents and ensure everyone is working safely on the job. He will be attending safety courses in the near future and will continue to grow his safety knowledge.

Kayla joined AMC Safety's team October 2022 as our Office Manager. At her previous employer, Kayla was a team member in customer service for 10+ years. Kayla handles AMC Safety's new hire drug screening and orientations, job site inspection reporting, month end reporting and more. She is well organized and ensures our clients receive documentation in a timely manner. Kayla is continuing to learn and plans to attend more safety classes in the future.
